After 15 minutes, dry the skin of the feet with a towel and treat the plates with a pumice stone and nail scissors, cutting off all the softened tissues to the maximum. Now the nails are ready for therapeutic manipulations using herbal medicine.

Use in children, pregnant and lactating
According to the instructions for finished medicinal products - tinctures and ointments based on calendula, it is undesirable to be treated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This plant, according to long-term observations, affects the tone of the uterus, which provokes miscarriages and spontaneous onset of labor. But nothing is said about the external use of the drug. In any case, use calendula tincture and ointment against nail fungus for women in position and lactating care should be taken when breastfeeding, if possible replacing them with alternative means with proven security.
Restrictions of the same nature apply to children. Therefore, before using them, you should consult your doctor.

Treatment of nail fungus with herbs plays an important role in the fight against this ailment. But doctors recommend using herbal remedies as an auxiliary, but not the main therapeutic method. Despite this, recipes based on calendula are able to get rid of onychomycosis at the initial stage of the disease.
