The drug ASD has many laudatory definitions - "super remedy", "panacea for all diseases" and other epithets. It was originally created to boost immunity, and has found its way into industries such as gynecology, dermatology, and even oncology. The drug is also popular in the treatment of onychomycosis.

A few words about ASD

ASD or Dorogov's antiseptic-stimulant is a biological agent created by heating decomposition products into tiny components. The preparation is based on meat and bone meal. It effectively destroys bacteria, viruses and other pathogenic microflora.

The product is a brown colored liquid substance with a pungent odor. Available in 100 ml glass bottles. It is sold through veterinary networks, since the drug was originally intended for the treatment of animals, but has gained unexpected popularity among people.

The price of the product in Russia starts from 250 rubles. for ASD-2 and 95 rubles. - ASD-3. In Ukraine, their cost is 100 and 75 hryvnia, respectively.

What types of ASD are suitable for nail fungus?

Instructions for use

Compliance with the instructions allows you to achieve high therapeutic results in the fight against mycotic infection. Consider recipes based on ASD-2 and ASD-3.

Fraction of the second type. It is used internally in a diluted form. To prepare a medicinal solution, you will need: 100 ml of water and 2 drops of ASD-2.

Add the required amount of antiseptic to warmed up to 35 degrees and mix. Take the product orally half an hour before meals 3 times a day. The duration of the course is 5 days, after which you should take a break for 72 hours and spend it again.

Faction of the third type. It is used externally for nail fungus. To cure the disease, you will need the following ingredients: laundry soap, vegetable oil, ASD-3.

Before treatment with an agent based on Dorogov's antiseptic, the feet are immersed in a bath prepared from water heated to 40 ° C and crushed soap. The steamed nail plates are cut with nail scissors and rubbed with a pumice stone.

ASD-3 is mixed with oil in proportions of 1:20 and applied to the foci of onychomycosis for 24 hours. A cellophane compress is applied on top, which is fixed with a bandage. After the allotted time has passed, the product is removed, and without rinsing it is treated with the drug again. Treatment continues until healthy nail tissue grows back. This process often takes about 6 months.

Use in children, pregnant and lactating

It is not recommended for expectant mothers to use ASD fraction 2 and 3 for nail fungus. Studies on the effect of the components of the drug on the fetus and pregnancy have not been carried out, which means that there is no data on its teratogenic effect, which excludes its use in women in an interesting position.

During lactation, the remedy is also not used. Oral and external treatment with ASD fraction 2 and 3, which is practiced for nail fungus, affects the quality of breast milk, or rather, its smell. A specific aroma can lead to the refusal of the baby from natural feeding.

The drug is approved for the treatment of children from one year of age. Oral administration of Dorogov's antiseptic is carried out according to the following recommendations, depending on age:

• 1-5 years: 0.05-0.1 ml 3-5 ml of water;
• 5-15 years: 0.2-0.7 ml 5-10 ml of water;
• 15–20 years: 0.5–1 ml 20–40 ml water.

Recommendations for use

• Since the drug has a specific smell, its internal intake is often complicated by aversion to antiseptic. To mitigate this effect, drops can be added not to water, but to cool tea with or without sugar, mineral water or milk. It is undesirable to mix the agent with various juices and fruit drinks, as this negatively affects the medicinal properties of the drug.
• It is recommended to take ASD inside and carry out applications outdoors, since the smell, remaining after an antiseptic, wears out for a long time and easily eats into the upholstery and other things.
• The fraction of the third type is simply rubbed into the nails with onychomycosis, followed by the application of a compress. If the plates could not be preserved as a result of the disease, applying them to an open wound surface is a rather tough and painful process. To soften it, the treatment area is preliminarily smeared with petroleum jelly or any ointment with a fungicidal effect, and only after that ASD-3 is applied and a bandage is made.

Contraindications and side effects

Among the undesirable reactions to the use of Dorogov's antiseptic, the following can be noted:

• nausea and vomiting - usually occur at the very beginning of using the drug, gradually disappear without any intervention;
• mild intoxication - can develop when using the drug on large areas of damage or overdosing it when taken orally, while the author of the technique strongly advises not to apply ASD-3 simultaneously to more than four affected nails and dilute ASD-2 strictly according to the specified scheme. To cope with this problem, you need to drink more water to remove accumulated harmful components from the body.

It is undesirable to apply the ASD fraction of any type to persons who are currently using other drugs. The fact is that studies on the interaction of an antiseptic with other medications have not been carried out, and it is rather difficult to predict what kind of chemical reaction will turn out to be.

During the use of ASD, it is recommended to completely eliminate alcoholic beverages and tobacco smoking. Also, the drug is not prescribed for pregnant women.

Are there analogues?
