Treatment of nail fungus with copper sulfate has come into practice relatively recently. Previously, this substance was used as a garden fertilizer, but then its useful properties were revealed - fungicidal and disinfecting. Additionally, the agent softens pain, improves the state of local immunity and restores the growth of the nail plate.

Ointment. This fungicidal copper sulfate product is easy to prepare. The drug is made before use, it is not subject to storage due to the rapid loss of medicinal properties.
2 tbsp. l. mix butter with a small amount of vitriol crystals until smooth. The final product should have a light blue tint.

The ointment is applied to the foci of infection, preventing the ingress of the active substance on healthy areas of the skin. Seal the treatment sites with a plaster and hold for several hours, provided that there are no side reactions, so that the drug has the proper therapeutic effect.
Compress. You will need a copper sulfate concentrate, the same as for the foot baths. The procedure is performed in the evening, leaving the application on all night.
